Check out our profile (here) on our new found and friended European partner’s site, Lazy Acre Records / @lazyacrerecords / as they compare our riffage to the Royal Trux and Scottish band Biffy Clyro. Thanks, Ben! We are happy to be a part of the family! You might see us crossing the pond in the next year as Lazy Acre will be backing us over there from here on out, and we will be doing some future releases with them in addition to giving them all of our other scheduled releases this summer!!!

We are playing Lobsterfest presented by ACRN radio in Athens, Ohio on April 27th. Our set is at 1:00 pm right before Cloud Nothings as part of the early showcase that day. “We have a 4-way split coming out in the fall and have announced three of the bands on it. Today we are pleased to announce Cherry Cola Champions will be joining Glish, Vetter Kids, and Young///Savage on the release. We met these dudes at …sxsw; their positive attitude and vibe was infectious and we are really happy to be working with them.”

We are excited for this! Also, we just tracked our split with Kittyhawk on Saturday, too. Proud of the two songs. Can’t wait for you to hear them.

It started with an email propositioning us to organize it all (bands, sound, promotion, flyers, gear, clean underwear?) in one week’s time, cushioned on each side by two 26-hour road trips (one through the very smokey mountains in a blistering rainstorm at 4 a.m.), dodging school and work in a rental van packed to the brim with banners, WMC merch, backline gear, pillows, yes-clean underwear, and four inaugurated ambassadors for Weapons of Mass Creation that did a fucking fantastic job for our FIRST ever Showcase in Austin during SXSW (Full story after the link).

We are extremely honored to announce and welcome Kittyhawk, featuring members Dowsing, Joie De Vivre and Into It. Over It. (live band), to the Flannel Family! In late spring/early summer we will be releasing a split 7” for them and Kent, Ohio’s own Cherry Cola Champions! Then much later this year we will be releasing their debut LP in the Fall.
